Student Council End of the Year Celebrations!

*Wednesday May 18 DURING LUNCH/RECESS

Students will buy/pack their lunch & have a picnic in the pavilion outside! We will have cake!

*Thursday May 26 at 8:15 BEFORE SCHOOL

Students will have a celebration breakfast including: pancakes, yogurt parfaits, fruit, mini doughnuts, mini muffins & juice!  

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser

I am very proud  to announce that our school, Fishcreek Elementary, has surpassed our $1,000.00 fundraising goal! During our three week collection period between the weeks of February 1st - February 19th, we were able to raise a total of $1,148.65 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!

Mrs. Gillespie's 4th grade class raised the most and won an Olive Garden catered party! Go Mrs. Gillespie's class!!

Fishcreek Elementary School’s Student Council Hosts a Fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Pennies for Patients! 

This fundraiser began Monday February 1st and will run until Friday February 19th! All proceeds will benefit Akron Children’s Hospital to support its blood cancer research center and additional hospitals in the Cleveland area. Our goal is to reach $1,000! Each child was given a box to bring back and forth between home and school to carry their change! Each classroom has a donation box and will be collected and counted at the end of each of the three weeks. The class that collects the most money will receive an Olive Garden lunch including pasta, salad, and breadsticks...yum!!

A Time of Giving

*During our previous meetings we had decided to create something to give to nursing homes. This way the students were actually creating something to give rather than buying something! During this meeting students worked on creating fleece tie blankets to send! Here are some photos of students working on the blankets!! :) Thank you to Luca's Aunt Debbie for donating the fleece and making this possible!!
